Sarah Jayne Cornell

Sarah Jayne Cornell is the Principal Therapist and Owner of Hands On Corporate & Events Massage: The Clinic. 

 

She has been a practicing Remedial Massage Therapist since 2012 and has extensive experience treating a range of acute, chronic and general conditions for clients of all ages and lifestyles.

Sarah implements a pro-active and preventative approach to injuries, combining manual therapy with exercise.  Her passion is assisting clients with developing and increasing their body awareness, in order to achieve and restore optimal functional movement. 

 

She considers enhancing your quality of life, and helping you to attain your personal goals, paramount in all of her treatments. 

 

Sarah has been an avid equestrienne since she was a child and has a keen interest in the biomechanics of riders, and horses. She understands well the impact they have on each other and the importance of muscular balance in the saddle.

 

Sarah’s qualifications include:

  • Certificate IV Massage Therapy

  • Diploma of Remedial Massage

  • Advanced Diploma of Health Science (Soft Tissue therapy)

  • Kinesio Taping K1 & K2

  • Cupping

  • Hot stone massage

  • Manual Lymphatic Drainage

  • Mental Health First Aid

 

Sarah has been a member of the Massage Association of Australia since 2012.  In 2019, she joined Massage & Myotherapy Australia as an Advanced Member Soft Tissue Therapist, and is a provider for all health funds.

 

Sarah’s areas of treatment interest include:

  • Sporting, postural, lifestyle and workplace injuries

  • Chronic pain

  • Stress and anxiety management

  • Lymphatic drainage and management

  • Human biomechanics, particularly of horse riders
